The Beretta M9 replaced the M1911 as the standard service pistol of the US Military. However, Glocks were used by Air Force pilots, although they're supposed to have since been phased out for the FN 5.7.
Either the Beretta M9 or the Desert Eagle. Most likely the M9. It depends on what you mean. If you mean America's military, the primary handgun is the Beretta M9, but if you mean in general, the Glock is the most common. About 65% of police departments in the U.S. use Glock, and probably about that same amount in competitive practical shooting.
Yes various Special Operation Units around the world including the U.S Military carry GLOCK pistols.
Mainly because the glock has no external safety which is a requirement for the U.S Army.
15 and up. Actually, it depends. Many police departments in the U.S. use .40 caliber handguns. Some Glock handguns (the model 22, for instance) hold 15, but the Glock 23 holds 13. Sig .40 caliber handguns hold 12. That said though, some agencies still use 9mm, although, depending on the model, some of those hold 11 or 12 also.
If you mean "military", it is the Beretta 92.
Each law enforcement agency prescribes what sidearms may be carried by their officers. California agencies furnish handguns to their sworn employees, and these are usually a single brand and model. However, many agencies permit their officers to purchase and carry their own handguns, so long as they meet the agency's specifications. Therefore, there can be considerable variety in what you may see in California officers' holsters. That said, the most common and popular police sidearm in the United States is the Glock pistol in .40 caliber.

There are several. Offhand, I know the Johnston County Sheriff's Office in Johnston County, North Carolina issues the Glock 23 as its standard sidearm. There are bound to be countless other agencies. If I recall correctly, Glock pistols are also used by Firearms Authorised Officers in the United Kingdom, and I remember seeing the police with Glocks in Mexico City.
I'm not 100% sure, but it's probably Glock. In the U.S. about 65% of all law enforcement agencies use Glocks, and they are also very popular in the commercial market.
No
The glock 18 pistol is the most use one. After that the Beretta 92 is the second one and, finaly, the full auto verso of the 1191 pistol is the last most used pistol in the US.
