Additional- FIE was an importer of mid to low quality firearms, and is long out of business. Despite the name, none of their .25 autos would really be a "best pistol". Walther, Browning and Colt did make good quality .25 autos.
Made in 1991. The markings will tell you where it was made; Thank you for your kind answer Ndbbm, I'd only one chance to look at the pistol and only have the S/N now, could you please confirm who made this pistol in 1991 and what's the country of origin? thank you again.
A lot of people think that the hunting pistol is the best. Im one of them!
Sorry- but sometimes the answer is- you won't. FIE was not the maker, but the importer. Most of their guns were made in Germany. FIE is long out of business. I did check the one site that deals in used parts for older guns, and they have none for that model. If it is a small part or a screw, a gunsmith may be able to make or adapt a part to fit.
The one you have with you when you need it.
You need to define best for WHAT. There is no one "best".
H&K USP45, hands down. Imo its the best designed pistol in the market 2day. Great looking, reliable and accurate. My cousin has one as service pistol and it has never jammed.
probably the one that cost the most and fits.
Firearms International Export (FIE) was not a manufacturer but an importer of inexpensive and frankly very poor firearms. Many of it's products came from small shops in Spain and Italy, but with FIE it could come from anywhere, including Pakistan and the Phillipines. IMHO one should steer clear of any firearm with the FIE Marque
The Browning medalist was the best by far.If you can find one, these were made from 1959-1974.
YES ! Made 1954 - 1969 Cased Grade I ( Blue Set) one pistol each, .25ACP, .380 ACP and 9mm Hi-power, walnut or black vinyl case.
There is no one "best" for everything. A Hammerli Olympic grade target pistol may be an excellent firearm for one specific competition, and fare poorly in another. A Ruger Mk III may be the leader in another competition, but is far to big for easy concealed carry as a defensive firearm. Depends on what you want the pistol to do.
This would be one of the best " Feinwerkbau P44 Match Air Pistol "It will cost you around $1,850 and an additional support charging system of around $400 to charge it with air.
