you can usually pick up a picatinny pistol rail for around 15.00 or less. It is made by UTG/Leapers. well my friend you get one shot @ this so be careful.......when you get the rail it should come with screws and flush mount nuts.......

1. breakdown pistol

2. carefully wrap and secure in a bench vise ( i suggest that you mount rail under instead of on slide since slide has too many interfearances)

3. pick a drill bit that is the same diameter of the hole that the Allen screw threads into (the flush mount nut has a threaded raised center with a pancake like outer diameter, do not use a bit that is bigger than the pancake or same size)

4. drill hole

5. file out any shavings with a bastard file (lightly)

6. install rail with nut on inside and screws thru the slotted holes on rail.

A better choice to retain and possibly increase the value of the gun is to get a set of Crimson Trace grips that have a laser built in to the grip they usually run around 200 a pair. (eliminates the hasssel of laser wires and drilling your gun)

Use A Laser On Yourself?

If you are in training to learn how to use a laser, find someone to practice with when you are not in class. If you learn what it feels like to use a laser and then have one used on you, you will understand what it is like for the people you use a taser on while on the job. Only use lasers when absolutely necessary.
