If the carrying of a concealed firearm was more excepted and more responsible, law abiding citizens did so, society would be exponentially safer.
Say a nut job with a gun ran into a mall shooting everyone in sight; men, women children, young, and old. If a responsible gun owner who was properly trained ( which I strongly recommend ) had their weapon, they would be able to take the bad guy out.
If the US bans guns, it will only take the guns away from law abiding citizens. The criminals who commit all the gun violence do not care about gun laws and will ALWAYS be able to obtain a firearm.
It is only the good guys that would be effected by a gun ban.
If EVERY responsible, law abiding, legal citizens carried a firearm, criminals would be very reluctant to commit any crime against a person.
