From another wiki:
Remove the magazine, draw slide back, check chamber to insure pistol is not loaded. Pull trigger to release striker. Holding pistol so that you see the rear of the slide, use a ball point pen or similar item to push in on the round circle. Draw slide back slightly, lift rear of slide off frame, then move slide forward off the barrel. Striker and striker spring can be removed from slide now. DO NOT RECCOMEND STRIPPING ANY FURTHER. If you fail to release the striker before disassembly, the spring is going to hit you in the eye.

From me:
Here is a link to a break down and manual. Hope this helps. Its a fun CHEAP pistol. Like anything else, it will wear down and needs to be cleaned and maintained. Neat little plinker.. just dont plan on hitting everything you aim at.. LOL.

Recommend you ask a gunsmith for help
used about 125 (like new) - 50 (worn) dollars us. New about 150.00 Us.
Best to ask a gunsmith for help if you don't have a manual
They were about $60 new, and now about $100 in good condition at a gun show.
That's a task best left to a gunsmith.
$50 to $75. These were very crude, low cost firearms of no particularly high quality.
Yes Provided the very cheaply made gun goes off when you pull the trigger. My advice would be to cut the gun into, throw it away and get a quality gun.
The value of a Jennings J22 Long Auto can vary based on its condition, age, and market demand, but typically ranges from $100 to $300. Factors such as the presence of original packaging, accessories, and any modifications can also affect its worth. For an accurate valuation, it's advisable to check recent sales listings or consult firearms appraisal services.
On mine which has a 314xxx serial (bryco arms Jennings J22). The serial number is located on the frames left hand side towards the rear. It is beneath the slide behind the safety and grip. PS: I have seen some J22's that do not have the s/n stamped in this location so yours may be different.
