These barrels are the screw in type and not meant to be changed by the average hunter. Also, headspacing will need to be checked if you're able to build the barrel vise and receiver clamp needed to separate the two pieces. These will have to be custom made, as there are no aftermarket sources available. Best advice is unless it's damaged. just leave it alone.

How do you remove the barrel from a Savage 67 E pump?

I have a Savage 67-E 20-gauge, and to my knowledge this is impossible. My gunsmith agrees. The best you can do is drop the back stock and trigger assembly out, then slide the pump back and take out the bolt and firing mechanism. One this is done, take out the screw at the front of the magazine tube, let it fall a little bit, then slide the pump all the way off. I don't think you can actually take just the barrel off, but stripping it as I above describes leave you with a few parts: The firing parts, the buttstock connected to the trigger assembly, the pump itself, and one large piece that is the receiver and barrel.
