To disassemble a Lefever Double Barrel shotgun, first ensure the firearm is unloaded and pointed in a safe direction. Open the action and remove the forearm by pressing the release latch, then slide it off the barrels. Next, unscrew the two stock screws located at the rear of the receiver and gently pull the stock away from the receiver to separate it. Finally, if necessary, further disassembly of the barrels can be done by removing the hinge pin, allowing access to internal components for cleaning or maintenance.
The Lefever was mfg. in 1935.
If it is a double, remove barrel and you will see it along with serial #.

To disassemble a Lefever Nitro Special, first ensure the shotgun is unloaded and the safety is engaged. Open the action and remove the barrel by locating and turning the barrel release lever, usually found at the front of the receiver. Once the barrel is removed, unscrew the stock from the receiver using the appropriate tool or screwdriver. Finally, you can access the internal components for further disassembly if needed, but be cautious and take note of the assembly order for reassembly.

Not clear on the question. There are no lever action double-barrel shotguns. There was a 'LeFever' in a few different variations, is that what you have? sales@countrygunsmith.net
Requires professional appraisal.
The best that I can do is say that the Lefever Nitro special was made from 1921-1948.
Ithaca bought Lefever and that gun is the Lefever Nitro Special. My gun has a pointer on it and 2 ivory beads, one midway on barrel. Also my gun has a rosewood stock on it. Special made gun for somebody. Lefever gun had ducks flying over a marsh on receiver.
A 5906 what? As a general rule, barrel bushings are one piece and do not disassemble. I am Sorry...: How do you "remove" a S&W 5906 barrel bushing ?? It sounds like an after market barrel of some type. The 5906 does not have a barrel bushing. The barrel is "belled". www.alpharubicon.com/leo/breakdown5906.htm This link will show you how to disassemble it.
