To disassemble an Ithaca 20 gauge Model 100 shotgun, first ensure the firearm is unloaded. Open the action and remove the forearm by loosening the screw located at the front of the receiver. Next, remove the barrel by unscrewing the barrel retention screw located underneath the receiver. Finally, to access internal components, remove the trigger assembly by taking out the pins that secure it in place.
