This is from an article my father had in his collection:
"To take this gun apart, first remove the magazine and check to see that the chamber is unloaded. Then, with the safety off, pull the bolt to the rear and lock it open by putting the safety on (up). Press the lower arm of the cocking lever into its recess as far as it will go and rotate the brechplug a quarter-turn clockwise. Pull out the breechplug. Hold up the cocking lever and press the lower arm of the sear back and move the bolt forward off the frame, holding the trigger to the rear. Lift out the barrel from the frame. Release the trigger to allow the sear trip to move upward. Hold the sear trip, move it to a vertical position, and slightly to the left. The sear trip and trigger may not ( POSSIBLE MISPRINT HERE, perhaps means (NOW) be taken from the gun. Reassembly is in the reverse order. As an aside, Packbasket Publications, Dept. GA, P.O. Box 4293, Tumwater, WA 98501 offers reprints of early Savage literature (and that of other gunmakers) including info on the Savage 1907"
Please note that I do not know the date of this info or if that publishing contact any longer exists. Hope this helps.

Your best bet is to find a gunsmith and ask for help.
The Savage Models 1907, 1915, and 1917 were all available in .32 auto and .380. They also manufactured a small number of .25 autos called the 6.35 mm as well as a Model 1905 in .45 ACP for the US Army trials.
ammunition is available for both the 32 cal semi auto and revolver..................

I recommend the Gun Digest Book of Automatic Pistols Assembly/Disassembly (Kindle Edition). Two are available on Amazon: one by the venerable J.B.Wood and the other by Kevin Muramatsu. Both of these books include the Savage 1908 (the 1915 and 1917 pistols are similar).
On the front of the frame under the slide/barrel.
Depending on the condition of the pistol, the value can be anywhere from $100 to about $400.
Go to this site: http://stevespages.com/page7b.htm and scroll down to Colt 32 & 380 hammerless. It will give you the manual in pfd form on how to assemble & disassamble your Colt.
where can I get a parts catalog for the savage 32 caliber pistol?
