You just click the left button like other guns, but the worst thing is it only has one bullet at a time except that it's powerful enough to destroy one crate with only one bullet.
However, it's not neccessarily the strongest gun. One bad thing about it is that you can't use ammo reducing perks, otherwise, Rosemary is unusable.
There are much better guns then Rosemary. One bullet deals only 10 points of damage, which is strange since in the newspaper, it took 1 shot to kill the demon, but 5 shots to beat the SMG-PK master.
If you want a better gun, I suggest going with the GAU-17 with exploding bullets on, or the M249 Saw if you need more control.
