To remove the barrel from a Marlin Glenfield Model 75 .22LR, first ensure the firearm is unloaded and the magazine is removed. Next, locate the barrel nut at the front of the receiver; use a wrench or appropriate tool to unscrew it counterclockwise. Once the barrel nut is removed, gently pull the barrel away from the receiver to detach it. Always consult the owner’s manual for specific instructions and safety precautions.
My Glenfield Model 25 has a micro-groove barrel,so I imagine others do as well.
