ok buddy i have some advice for u considering i just took one of these apart to clean it and now i cant get it back together but if u are adventurous and just like a challenge when u get the stock off the trigger mechanism has 3 screws the dust plug thing in the back just wiggles out then there is a pin to the rear of the firing block thing punch it out and the whole block is on a hinge then bolt should slide out when the pin is removed and flipped up now ...my problem is i got it all put back together my bolt will no longer cycle so......if u are adventurous and more gun savy than me plzzz reply back with some help .llol i dont want to buy a new 22.

That shotgun was made for Sears by Savage/Stevens and is basically the Stevens 59A bolt-action. Remove the takedown screw from the bottom of the stock and separate the metal from the wood. Remove the bolt stop screw from the left side of the receiver and remove the bolt rearward. We do not recommend any further disassembly.

Magazine tube for a Savage/Stevens 87a should be easy give Brownells a call. I think the part I got for my Stevens Springfield 86 is the same part. Theirs is listed as Old Savage ....works fine in my bolt 86. Ed
I can't find a model 710 under either the Savage or Stevens listings in any of my reference books. The Model 710 is the Western Field Model. It crosses over to a Savage Model 110. My 710 was purchased at Wards about 1980.
