well if they are the standard blades; almost like two knives attached as scissors then you can use a whetstone to sharpen them the way you would a knife , if not I think they have sharpeners for those at hard ware stores I don't know. Any way if you don't what a whetstone is or how to use one talk to a person at a sporting goods store, army surplus or general store where the sell 'em and show them what you want sharpened. Talk to some people at a gardening center as well and show them what you have.
