Best bet, do what I did....and don't! go to Home Depot and get one of those Rhino products that you take the string attachment off and bolt this baby one. Works great and does away with the bump and feed. You just put a 12 in. line of your choice of thickness by pressing a button and feeding the 12 inch line through. That is all there is. You might have to replace that 12 inch line after each use but I put in really thick line and if works for about an acre of land. Very pleased for a product that cost me $15.00 and just bolts on to the end of the Homelite shaft.
