pull the bolt back as if you were ejecting a round, make sure the safety is off ( in the up position), hold the trigger back and continue sliding the bolt back until it clears the reciever
Follow the instructions in the owner's manual. If you don't have one, take it to a gunsmith and be shown.
You have to remove the barrel. Take the stock off and you will see the nut that holds a "U" clip in place. The clipp holds the barrell. Remove clip, slide barrel out, then the bolt will also slide out.
you take a bolt and bolt it.
Get a gun cleaning kit. Get the lubricant-cleaner, and polish the whole gun, even the stock. Lubricate the bolt by pulling it out and cleaning it, and take the ramrod out from under the barrel and put a piece of cloth with some cleaner on it and run it through the barrel.
Bolt head is attached to bolt body by a cross pin. Pin is driven out from LEFT to RIGHT using proper sized pin punch. If you do not have the proper tools, take this to a gunsmith- most of those parts are no longer available, break them, and you will not find another. If you only want to clean the rifle, use a spray gun cleaner like Borescrubber. Wear safety glasses while using the spray.
take off the safety. pull bolt back. pull triger and bolt slides out. take off the safety. pull bolt back. pull triger and bolt slides out.
Go to a sporting goods store or gunshop, and get a .22 caliber cleaning kit. Check the rifle to be sure it is completely unloaded. Open the bolt and pull it back. With the safety off, press and hold trigger, and slide bolt out of the rear of the action. Loosen the large screw forward of the trigger guard. This will release the action from the stock. STOP. Do not take anything else apart. Follow instructions in your cleaning kit.
Not much over 100.00 120.00 in perfect. The Stevens 56 is almost the same and I am looking for some partsfor a 56. The 84 and 56 are interchangable parts or so the parts manual says. If you want to sell it I might be interested. The long bolt action on these would not take much abusive quick speed cocking and slamming and would break behind the bolt handle.
open bolt, pull trigger, bolt should slide right out
I'm not sure how you take the bolt itself apart but if you are looking to dissasemble it to clean it all you have to to is hold down the trigger and open the bolt as if you were opening it to load it and just pull it towards you and it should slide right out. There is also a screw on the bottom that can be unscrewed with your fingers. When that is unscrewed the barrel can be removed for cleaning
