SKS receivers are milled. AK receivers can be stamped or milled.
No way to tell. Remingtons are dated by a 2 or 3 LETTER code stamped on the left side of the barrel, half inch from the receiver.
It should be stamped on the side of the receiver.
THey were made by crescent firearm company.
Look at the barrel on the left side, about a half inch forward of the receiver- you should find some very small letters stamped there. You may need a magnifier to accurately read them. They are a code to show month and year made. The Remington Collector's Website has a table of date codes to decipher them. Note that is the date the BARREL was made. If original to rifle, is also date rifle was made.
Can't tell without full description of all markings and features

A carbine is a rifle with a relatively short barrel. If you have a carbine receiver it's for a rifle. There are lots of 9mm carbines out there. Here is a link to some photos http://images.google.com/images?svnum=10&hl=en&lr=&q=9mm+carbine&btnG=Search Hope that helps.
The model number should be stamped into the barrel near the Winchester name. It will say "model" or "model of"
the sn of the rifle will tell you when it was made, nothing else.
To determine the date of manufacture for a Springfield rifle from 1878, check the serial number located on the receiver, as Springfield Armory typically stamped it there. Cross-reference the serial number with historical records or reference guides specific to Springfield rifles, which often provide year-by-year production data. Additionally, examine any markings or proof stamps on the rifle that may indicate the production year or model type. If needed, consult with firearms experts or historical collectors for further verification.
