You will need a .177 cleaning rod or a very thin long wooden rod that you can purchase at a hardware store.
Open the breech or loading port of the rifle and slide the rod down the barrel and force it back out through the loading breech.
I have a large chest freezer in my garage and I've even put a rifle in it for several hours. Metal actually shrinks when it's frozen. This made it easier to slide the pellet out. Let the rifle thaw before you fire it again.
I suggest you purchase Crosman Pellgun oil ($6) next time put a flat sponge in the bottom of your pellet tin and put a few drops of Pellgun oil in it, Don't over soak the pellets. This will help then slide down the barrel and will also increase your FPS (Feet Per Second) You will be able to tell by the sound the rifle makes. Do not use 3n1 oil or any other type of oil it will ruin the seals.
Only if the rifle is designed for pellets. If it is a "Red Ryder" then the answer is NO. Daisy makes PELLET rifles.
Daisy made a model 120 pellet rifle from 1984-85. It was made of by El Gamo of Spain.
You will need a .177 caliber cleaning rod to push the pellet back into the loading breech from the barrel.
Daisy never made a model 120 pellet gun. Are you sure you don't mean a 120 Pellet rifle? If this is what you are asking about then restate your question with additional information, such as the current condition of the rifle. Give it a ration like Poor, Fair, good, very good or excellent condition. Also stat if it is working or not. Then I will be able to give you an estimate of value.
The Phantom is a single shot, single break barrel Pellet rifle rated at 1000 FPS that cost around $90. It is a true pellet rifle. Deigned for target and hunting. The Daisy 901 is a combo BB/Pellet rifle that is a 10 pump for a maxim 750 FPS. and cost around $63. Designed for plinking and fun. Personally I have never been a fan of Combo rifles ( But that is my opinion )
The Daisy is a low powered BB rifle. It is capable of killing a squirrel but the rodent will suffer before death. It is best to use a pellet rifle not a BB rifle. I also suggest using hollow point pellets for rodent control. Pellet deform when they hit a target and make a clean kill. BB do not deform and are a poor rodent control weapon.
This is not a BB gun, but it is a Pellet rifle made between 1984-85
If it is a JC Higgins pellet rifle it was made by Crosman or Daisy air guns. If the model number starts with 126 it was made by Crosman. (www.corsman .com) Crosman has all their manuals for parts on the web page. If the model number starts with 799 it was made by Daisy (www.daisy.com) you will have to contact them to get your information.
See the attached Link for the owners manual.http://www.daisy.com/sites/default/files/manuals/880_web_manual.pdf
Your best bet is to do a web search for 'air gun repair" and locate someone near you to repair it for you.
The model 880 is designed to shoot both Pellets and BB's. See the Owners manual at the link Below.
There are air rifles and there are air guns. These are guns that use air or C02 to fire a BB or Pellet, not gunpowder. A DAISY RED RYDER BB Rifle would be considered an "air rifle." There are several companies that make air guns and air rifles. Gamo, Daisy, Crosman, and Umarex are a few of these companies.
