In excess of 2 miles.

The previous answer of 2 miles is a bit of crazy talk. If a .45 ACP handgun
is fired parallel to the ground it will hit the dirt 360 feet down range.
(Source: http://dsc.discovery.com/videos/mythbusters-dropped-vs-fired-bullet.html )
Now unless you are talking about unsafe practices just to set some kind of
a distance record such as firing high into the air on a mountain ridge with a 50
mph tail wind with hot loaded ammo, who knows, but I highly doubt it could reach
10,560 feet.............or 2 miles.

The previous answer is correct- IF the .45 ACP is fired parallel to the ground- which rarely happens. The muzzle is elevated to raise the strike of the bullet. IF the muzzle is raised to a GREAT degree- around 45 degrees, the bullet will travel much further than 360 ft. About 2 miles. Not accurately, and at the end of flight does not have energy to penetrate a target.

I report, you decide.
About 1 mile, when fired at a 45 degree angle.
Depends on the angle it's fired at, and which .30 caliber. When fired at an angle of about 45 degrees, a 30-06 can fire a bullet about 4-5 miles.
The answer varies, depending on WHICH .45 caliber bullet, and which weapon fires it. In the case of the 1911A1 pistol, in .45 ACP, firing a standard 230 gr. round nosed bullet, when elevated to 33 degrees, the bullet will travel 2096 ft. Not accurately, but that is it's maximum RANGE.
If you mean "farther" yes, generally speaking, a .22 will travel further than a .45. The .45 is a much heavier bullet and loses velocity at a faster rate.
Depends on the case and the size of the powder charge. There are many .30 caliber cartridges and the ranges will be different for each one.
Noop. an M16 fires a 5.56mm (or .223 caliber) bullet. A .45 caliber shoots a bullet that is ~11.43mm.
The main difference between a 9mm and a .45 caliber bullet is the diameter. A 9mm bullet has a diameter of 9 millimeters, while a .45 caliber bullet has a diameter of .45 inches. The .45 caliber bullet is larger and generally heavier than the 9mm bullet, resulting in differences in recoil, speed, and stopping power.
The maximum effective range of a .45 caliber bullet is approximately 120 meters.
The .45 caliber bullet is not used in a sniper rifle.
NO!!! DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS!!!
Yes, a 45 caliber bullet is bigger than a 40 caliber bullet. A .45 is0.45 inches wide in diameter and a .40 is 0.4 inches in diameter.
If you fire a .45 caliber bullet at a paper target, it will leave a .45 inch hole.
