I own one with interchangeable chokes, in 12 ga. Mine is used as a field gun for birds. This gun, used in conjunction with a Brittney Spaniel, makes for an effective food-getter.
It breaks down easily and has been very reliable over the past 12 years.

The value of a Baikal 12 gauge double barrel shotgun with KBI, Inc. and HBGPA NYK 43 markings can vary widely based on its condition, age, and specific model. Generally, these shotguns are known for their durability and affordability, ranging from $300 to $800 in the used market. However, collectors may pay more for unique features or historical significance. To determine a more accurate value, it's advisable to consult a firearms appraiser or check recent sales of similar models.

If it shoots, $75-$450 depending on condition.
Range will depend on ammo and choke. I would -NOT- hunt wild boar with a shotgun, rather would suggest you get a decent 30-30 or 30-06 which is a relatively high powered rifle -- or better. I would also suggest carrying a sidearm with some knock down power - something like a Magnum .357 .41 or .44, or a .45 would be good. Wild boar are some tough customers. Think of them as wild saber toothed pigs. Good luck.
IT IS NOT A CHATROOM PEOPLE!!!!!

If you look closely, I think it's a Sportsman 48 instead. Anywhere from $100-$300 depending on condition and options.
