There are really no firm numbers to answer this question- but it would be several millions of people. They would include the farmer that keeps a shotgun for protection of his livestock from wild animals, the merchant that keeps a handgun for protection from an armed robbery, and the private citizen that keeps a firearm for personal defense from a mugger. This does not include law enforcement officers, military, or private security staff, like the guard at the bank, or the driver of the armored car that carries money from a business to the bank. There are estimates that firearms are used for defense by private citizens in the US several million times each year.
It's not about the guns! It's the people who use the guns.
Millions.
People are not killed by guns. People are killed by other people. Some use guns, some use other objects.
They use guns.
Because we are a free nation and have rights. Many people use the guns for protection, hunting for food, killing snakes or other animals in and around their homes. Guns are not bad. Stupid people who don't know how to use a gun, or bad people who want to harm others with guns, or dumb people that allow children access to guns are the real problems.
All guns use gun powder except Air guns and Air rifles
Over five hundred billion
The carrying of guns is a conundrum, as people carry guns to feel safe, people get angry and use those guns to shoot people, so people by more guns to feel more safe. However overall it is for a false sense of security. Black people are horrible people
Many. BB guns, pellet guns, airsoft guns, etc.
people killing people with guns
Food is one.
drunk drivers kill twice as many people than accidental use of guns but if you add up the deaths associeated with guns on purpose they are surprising pretty close in numbers.
