Most snipers have to use their unit or agency supplied ammo and some maybe lucky enough to be able to select it themselves. No matter if it is Military lake City M118 or Federal Match you will be tied to it. A speed for the 308 cal. at most wil be 2640 fps.
400+
All paintball guns shoot between 280 and 300 fps.
Almost all paintball guns will shoot 300 fps.
Any spring Airsoft gun is likely to shoot <200 FPS with the exception of snipers. Remember, FPS only influences muzzle velocity. As far as range is concerned, air resistance compensates, and a higher FPS only allows you to have a heavier BB. I own a Tokyo Marui Scar-H and it shoots 299.8 FPS, but is deadly accurate, much more than my M4A1 which does 370. Honestly, get an AEG if you really want higher FPS, it DOES make people call their hits hehe
Over time, yes.
that is way to hot for any airsoft field. my fields limit on snipers is 550 fps and you still cant shoot people within a 75 yard radius. if your just shooting targets its fine but if you want to actually play airsoft downgrade it. Theres no way your airsoft gun shoots at 1500 fps, the strongest airsoft gun i ever saw shot at about 550 and it was upgraded, i know some shoot close to 800 fps but those ones cost like 2 000$.
Not much. It is only 130 feet per second. It sounds fast, but in reality, most airsoft guns shoot at about 300 fps.
Well, the legal FPS for an airsoft gun is 450, but you can get snipers, AEG's, etc. that run up to 600 FPS and beyond.
Usually 400fps for AEG's and 450fps for Snipers.
unmodified Nerf guns might shoot about 30 or 35 fps, but some modified guns and homemade guns could probably get up to about 60 or 70 fps.
anywhere from 250 FPS to 600 FPS, depending on the model.
The Marksman repeater is rated at 200 FPS.
