Are you sure about the model number? I don't believe there is such an item.
how much is a 25 20 Winchester...model 1892..serial number 605956... manufactured in 1884 worth
The 1892 Winchester (Model 92) was first produced in 1892 which makes the question unanswerable.
I would like to start with the fact that Winchester never made a model 82 rifle,or shotgun for that matter.I would also like to say that Winchester was producing the model 1873 rifle, and the Winchester model 1876 model rifle during the date of 14 October,1884.The model 1866 was also produced at this time in history. All 3 model of rifles were not chambered in 32WCF during this time. The only rifle chambered in 32.20 was the Winchester model 1873 carbine third model.this carbine was not chambered in 32-20 Winchester until after the date you listed.Could you be talking about a Winchester model 92(1892) rifle? The only problem with this is the Winchester model 1892 rifle was not produced until 1892,8 years after the date you mention. Please check your facts and dates for accuracy and repost your Question.
Your serial number indicates that your Winchester model 1873 was made in the year 1884.
A Winchester Model 1873 with a serial number of 169xxx was manufactured in 1884.
in my eyes its worth more than anyone is willing to pay for it. its a great gun and its part of our history i would not sell mine for less than 7 to 10 grand.
No way to value with just the serial number.
There is no such thing as a "Winchester 1884". There were two distinctly different Winchester Models that were made to chamber the 32-40 cartridge; (1) The Model 1885 Single Shot (falling block) Rifle (2) The Model 1894 Lever-Action Rifle The potential collector value for each is significantly different.
Impossible to answer without a detailed description
the true is... I don´t know but it´s about 1600 dollars in U.S.A.
1884...one of about 12, 255 guns of that model made in that year. Regards, Marty
The collector value of your 1884 vintage Winchester Model 1873 can only be assessed by a visual inspection & evaluation. Old Winchesters are very much like old classic automobiles... the graded condition and factory originality are the key factors in determining what they are truly worth.
