Do you want to become a dealer in machineguns, silencers, short-barreled shotguns, etc? Or do you just want to OWN one and have it legally registered under your name? I don't know about the dealer's license, but for ownership of one of these NFA (National Firearms Act) weapons, it's $200 tax (once for as long as you own it) to the feds plus some small fees to your local law enforcement agency for running your fingerprints and doing a background check on you.
None- there is no such thing as a Class III license. There are 39 states that permit private ownership of fully automatic firearms, but there is no special license to possess a Class III firearm. In the states where it is legal, transfer of ownership will require approval of the BATFE
you bring paper and pencil and a backpack
Unfortunately you cannot unless you have a class 3 firearms license. Also as of the moment they will only sale to Military and Police.
In the United States a Class 3 Federal Firearms License is a license for dealing in firearms and destructive devices regulated under the National Firearms Act of 1934. It depends on what you mean. In the U.S. a license to sell guns costs $200 or $250 every 3 years. A license to carry a gun costs different amounts depending on which state you live in. A license to own a gun is only required in about 2 or 3 states.
There is no "license" to buy Class III firearms (fully automatic or machine guns). The transfer of each machine gun must be approved by the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. There is a $200 transfer tax for each gun purchased.
3 dollars.
3 dollars.
if you have a Class 3 Federal Firearms License any rifle you want... if not then none. that goes for any state not just mass.
It depends on the age of the children that the license is for, but it is generally upwards of $400 and takes over 3 years to get.
There are several different FFLs- Dealer, Pawnshop, Collector, various manufacturers and importers of firearms and ammo. Two most common- 01 Dealer and 03 collector of Curio & Relic firearms. Dealer- must intend to "engage in the business" of buying and selling guns. Before a FFL is issued, you must meet all other laws to run a business- business license, zoning, sales tax ID, etc. ATF gets fingerprint card, conducts background check- $200 fee. Collector- covers firearm 50 yrs old or older. Allow you to receive those firearms directly from sellers in other states. Not a license to "engage in the business"- it is to aid you in collecting. $30 for 3 years, simple application, no business license etc.
