There is a lot of Information on the Baker Gun & Forging Co. They started in 1890 and made shotguns up to 1923. They made several different grades of shotguns. I suggest that you go to a book store and find a book called "2008 standard catalogue of firearms 18 edition" in it you will find several different photos of shotguns and listing of the different grades. All of them are valuable. look on page 104 for the information you are seeking.
Seek the services of a gun smith.
The only info I have on the stevens model 94 shotgun is that it was made between the years 1926-1945.

You will need to call Browning.
Why does your temperature gauge rise and lower only when you have the heat on?
Depression era shotgun sold by Sears and Roebuck, there was no requirement for serial numbers at the time. If it shows significant wear take it to a gunsmith to determine safety before firing, other wise it should be fine for lead shot.
Baker College's Flint Michigan campus is Abet accredited, as of right now that is the only Baker campus that is. There online classes are not.
The gauge does not cause the heat; it only shows what it is.

The only gauge that measures pressure above 0 psig is called a pressure gauge or more specifically, a gauge pressure gauge. This type of gauge measures pressure relative to atmospheric pressure, indicating values greater than atmospheric pressure (0 psig). It is commonly used in various applications, such as in industrial processes and HVAC systems.
A little bit of information only. There was a F. T. Baker listed as a gunmaker on Fleet St. in London sometime during the mid to late 1800's. This little tid-bit of info. came from the book "Sidelocks & Boxlocks" by Geoffrey Boothroyd.
