I"ll be interesting buying it fro you.
Impossible to answer without a detailed description of all features and markings.
I have two 1878 Jas Parker & Sons double barrel shotguns.
We'd have to start by figuring out what make and model it is. What markings are on the gun? sales@countrygunsmith.net
Depends on the shotgun.
Pull the trigger
It is a lever inside the trigger guard, forward of the trigger.
The 870 Remington shotgun used to be a popular candidate for a "release" trigger.
The only way is to replace the whole trigger but it will still have a hair trigger
go to launch shotgun and grab the shotgun and pull it back and pull it forward then press the trigger
Made by Savage/Stevens. We have trigger guards.
To install a trigger in a Springfield 940E .410 shotgun, first ensure the shotgun is unloaded and safe. Remove the stock by unscrewing the retaining screws, then take out the trigger assembly from the receiver. Carefully replace the old trigger with the new one, ensuring all components are correctly aligned. Finally, reassemble the shotgun by reversing the disassembly process and ensure it functions properly before use.
Those markings suggest manufacture between 1900-1920. sales@countrygunsmith.net
