I find two interesting points about this question. The Benjamin model 312 is part of the Benjamin 310 series of rifles 310, 312, 317 made between 1940 and 1969. If there is credit given why is it only on the .22 caliber version, and the second question is. Crosman didn't own Benjamin until 1992 so why would they give credit on such an old air rifle that they were not responsible for making.
On Crosmans web site there is NO mention of any type of credit for this model.

Sheridan started in 1945. Later it was purchased by Benjamin air gun company and Later Benjamin was purchased by Crosman air gun company. It is still in production.

The Crosman model 150 was made between 1954-1967. It is a .22 cal pellet pistol.
I am not familiar with this particular model (427) but I am familiar with Benjamin air rifle. If your problem is that there is on Scope rail to mount your scope then I know how to fix it. Benjamin (Owned by Crosman) has a new Benjamin Rogue it is a .357 caliber. At present it will be the largest Pellet rifle made with the Benjamin name. Yes it is a hunting rifle. The next largest Benjamin rifle is the Benjamin Marauder .25 caliber. Sam Yang make a 50 caliber and a 44 caliber hunting air rifle.
