I have purchased several shotguns including the Charles Daly. The easy answer is yes it is worth purchasing; however, be aware that you get what you pay for. I am guessing that your interest is in purchasing a shotgun in the $300 to $400 range. My Charles Daly has so far proven to be reliable with proper maintenance and I would recommend these for the price. It is not the same quality gun as a Browning, Benelli or Beretta, and I suspect does not have the "snob" factor associated with these other manufacturers. What Charles Daly does provide is a simple, lightweight shotgun at an affordable price. In this same price range a person might consider a quality pump action shotgun such as the Benelli Nova or Remington 870. In my case I already owned a Nova and simply wanted an inexpensive semiautomatic for field use.
It's only worth what a buyer is prepared to pay !!

You can purchase a magazine extension for a 12 gauge Charles Daly shotgun from several sources, including online retailers like Brownells, MidwayUSA, or Amazon. Additionally, local gun shops or sporting goods stores may carry accessories for shotguns. It's also worth checking the manufacturer's website for specific parts and accessories.
