I believe that according to California 'code', a handgun/pistol can NOT have a clip/magazine with the capacity of holding more than 10 (ten) rounds, in order to be considered 'legal'.

You should check the codes in your area before relying on me though, I am not a LAWYER or legal professional.

Since the Glock 19 comes 'standard' with a 15 (fifteen) round magazine, they would NOT be considered 'legal' in the STATE OF CALIFORNIA, if the above code(s) are in place which only allow magazines capable of holding 10 (ten) rounds or less of ammunition.
