Yes, its a great value for the price. I have one and have put about 2000 rounds through it without a single issue. I can shoot 2" groups at 150 yards, and I'm not really a great shot. Plus, the gun looks pretty mean with that thick stainless barrel. :)
.22 mag and .22 LR are not the same. So, no.
These sell for between $350-$450. NO- 22 LR ammo cannot safely be fired in a .22 magnum rifle. The .22 magnum case is larger in diameter as well as longer. The .22 LR cartridge case will split.

Where can I find part for a Marlin model 57 rifle .22 mag
Gun shows,gun shops,on line sites,garage sales etc.
No, you can not. The 44 Special can be fired in any firearm chambered and marked for the 44 Magnum cartridge. The 444 Marlin is a rifle cartridge (much longer than either the 44 Spl or 44 Mag), and is much more powerful. The 44 Spl and 44 Mag. were designed as handgun cartridges, but have been adapted to a small number of lever-action carbines. Bert H.
I'll give you $350 shipped.
