A K frame revolver
Cartridge
It is a K frame. No way to tell exact model from just the serial number. Most likely a Model 10.
K, l, n
The most common frame size for the .38 special in Smith and Wessons line up of revolvers were the J frame. Some were also made on the K frame, and the L frame.
Guns made after 1957 will have the model number stamped on the frame and visible when you open the cylinder. On earlier guns, they had model names instead of model numbers.
The model 37 indicates an "air weight" aluminum frame. It is the aluminum frame version of the model 36. Generally the model 37 is not plus P rated unless so marked on the barrel. A model 637 is the stainless/aluminum version of the air weight and is plus P rated.

S&W has made millions of .38 Special revolvers- none of them were a Model 367. Please repost with all markings on the gun, including any markings that are on the frame covered by the cylinder crane when the cylinder is closed.
