The RG Model 66, a revolver manufactured by RG Industries, typically does not have an official .22 Magnum cylinder available. The revolver was primarily designed for .22 Long Rifle cartridges. If a .22 Magnum cylinder exists, it would likely be an aftermarket modification, but such options are rare and may not be readily available. Always consult with a qualified gunsmith or firearms expert for specific modifications and compatibility.
If anyone is still looking for that 22 mag cylinder for a RG model 66 revolver I have one. I am willing to trade it for the 22 LR cylinder. I have two of the mag cylinders and want the 22 LR one for a cheaper way to just have fun with the gun. I have an extra 22 LR cylinder, will trade....taurush@suddenlink.net

It uses the "K" frame. The Model 66 was the Model 19 in stainless, and with a target trigger. But it was only made in .357 Magnum; it was never made in .44 Magnum. That was the Model 29.

I can not give the exact date of manufacture, however, the model 66-1 was produced from 1977 (change of gas ring from yoke to cylinder) until 1982 (in 1978 the 6" barrel was introduced). In 1982 came the 66-2 (Eliminate cylinder counterbore and pinned barrel; slight change in cylinder lenght to 1.62"
Gas ring changed from yoke to cylinder, 6" bbl introduced, Cylinder counter bore and pinned barrel eliminated, cylinder length changed to 1.62", New yoke retention system/radius stud package.
