No, these BB rifles have very few adjustments, if any. They are mass-produced with little craftsmanship.
Red Ryder 1939 models have had variations in sight and other components. Example: the RR 1938 Commemorative has a simple adjustable rear sight similar to the sight on a real Winchester. RR1938 model beginning at Plymouth MI and continuing at Rogers, AR are a durable BB Rifle. Craftsmanship is functional and pleasing to its market.
They had a Small round knurled peep sight
Daisy Targeteer model 118: Fixed Rear Sight 1937 -1941 Adj Rear Sight 1949-1952 Chrome plated 1949-1952 Blue 1937-1951 Painted 1952-1952 Daisy model 118 Targeteer Number 320 1937-1952
I own two Daisy Model 1894 BB Rifles (NOT a 1894 gun) both of them have the registration number on the barrel right in front of the rear sight
The model number is usually on the left side of the breech just below the rear sight. (Some models may differ). I suggest you contact Daisy for more information. Daisy offers a free service to tell you about your old Daisy. See the link below.
This BB rifle is made by Daisy. The number will be on the barrel in front of the rear sight.
adjust rear sight up for distance
Not designed to be adjustable.
The Red Ryder BB Rifle can only be adjusted for up and down not left or right (windage) Select a target about 20 feet away. ( beyond that the rifle is not very accurate, that the nature of BB guns and rifles.) Aim at the center of the target and fire. If the BB strikes too low you need to raise the rear sight a notch or two. If it strikes too high you need to lower the rear sight. If it strikes left or right of the target then adjust your aim a little in the opposite direction to correct for the strike. Do not do this on a windy day or you will be all over the target.
lower them
Depends on the firearm.
Would it not be wonderful if someone had a manual for the 1936 7th variation of the model 25 Daisy on line. However I have never seen one. I also have two old versions of the model 25. Daisy is producing the model 25 again, much like the old ones ( Wood stock not plastic ) with a few upgrades but basically the same rifle. Daisy will send you a manual for any current rifle in production so you can get one of the new rifle manuals for the model 25. ( I also own one of these, the shot tube is much nicer and it has a peep and v sight on the rifle.) Contact Daisy customer service at the link I've posted below, for a new model 25 owners manual.
You will find it on the barrel directly in front of the sight.
