The value of any firearm is based on exact make, model, and condition. You did not give us any of the three- and we can't tell anything from a serial number alone. Your .38 Special could be worth anywhere from $40 to $400. Sorry, but we need info to give you a meaningful answer.
Impossible to value any firearm with just the serial number.
ANY time you request the value of a Winchester rifle, Do a little research on the serial number and Verify if it is A Pre or POST 1964 production.. The causes the value to move dramatically either way.. Pre war Winchesters being of higher value in this society...
It's too new to have any special value.Serial NumbersIt's normally not necessary to provide a bill's serial number. Serial numbers are counters and a security feature but rarely affect a bill's value. Some collectors will pay extra for numbers with a special pattern, e.g. 12345678, or low numbers such as 00000015.
Virtually impossible to value any item with only the serial number. Suggest you check on line auctions that are similar to what you have.
Please post a new, separate question with the bill's date and what letter if any appears next to the date. Serial numbers are counters and security features, but don't help to ID a bill and only affect its value in special cases.

The Hiawatha serial number is significant in determining the authenticity and value of the item because it provides a unique identifier that can be used to verify the item's origin and history. This serial number can help authenticate the item as a genuine Hiawatha product and can also provide information about its production date and any special features that may affect its value.

It is virtually impossible to give a value on any firearm with just the model and serial number. You do not mention the finish, overall condition, barrel length, grip material, any accessories, engraving, papers, box or historical association with a person or event. It could be in the 10-1000 USD range or more.
