In 1980 the serial #s for the model 780 ran from 20,690,001 to 20,815,000. looks like a 1980 model to me. answer by catfishiowa
Looks like it was made in 1949
THAT NUMBER LOOKS LIKE A SERIAL NUMBER NOT A MODEL NUMBER. IF IT IS LOCATED UNDER THE STOCK JUST BEHIND THE TRIGGER GUARD IT IS A SERIAL OR PRODUCTION NUMBER NOT A MODEL NUMBER.
You need to have it examined by a gunsmith.
This isn't a serial number. It looks more like a patent number. Describe which model you have and we can help with the serial number.
Unfortunately the model number you gave it not listed any where. It looks like a serial number. The Craftsman tractor model numbers are like this example :- "CRCRA17542"
The serial number starts with three letters. What you have listed looks like an assembly number. The sn is located on the butt of the pistol
No, there are some where the first digit looks like an 'L' but it is a '1'.
You have not stated the model number, but what looks like a serial number. There was a Browning Auto 5 in 16ga with 122008 serial number made in 1939. This may be what you have if it is an Automatic Browning shotgun. (A5)
for your first commerical you are going to get 5,000.00
That serial number dates to 1953, however the 338 Win Mag was not introduced unitl 1958. Looks like it has had the barrel replaced.
Looks like it would probably be 1960. http://www.marineengine.com/parts/john_model_guide_pre80.html
