My records indicate that the first Savage model 110 rifles were made in 1958.The model 110L was made later than 1965.The very early models did not have a letter designation attached to the number 110.
The Savage 110L rifle with the serial number 57523 was likely manufactured around the early 1970s. Savage Arms has a production code system, and based on the serial number, it falls within that time frame. For the most accurate information, you may want to consult a Savage Arms expert or reference specific production records.

I have one with SN 28XXX and the old Chicopee Falls Ma stamp. If it has this stamp it had to be sometime in 1960 or or before as they moved that year. If not, with that SN that close to mine, it could not any newer than 1961 or 1962. I was told sometime ago that Savage dedicated most of the 1959 production of 110's to left hand actions, but I cannot verify that. Hope this helps.
stock klx 110 will go about 50- 60 mph i dont know if the klx 110L will go faster. i think it goes the same but is just a bigger model.
Remove the butt plate and you'll see a hole. Down the hole is a nut on a threaded rod, holding the butt onto the gun. Remove the nut = remove the stock.
The main advantage of a direct cold water system in a dwelling is that they are much cheaper to install than an indirect system. Purely because less pipe work is needed and if at all, you will only need a small 110L storage cystern in the roof space. They also provide potable water from all draw off points because all are mains fed. There will also be a good level of pressure in the system. However, when the mains supply pipe is going under maintainance and is shut off, there will be no cold water in the property, and this problem would not occur if the system were indirect, because there would most likely be a 240L cystern in the roofspace so plenty of water if the mains fails, you can be drinking your cuppa while the property next store cant even wash there hands
