i have a marlin model 55-12 guage shotgun and bought it a few years back as my first gun for about 50 bucks. sanded down and refinished the wood stock myself as well as reblued the barrel and polished the bolt. its a good gun and can be shot all day long. ive shot 2 3/4 birs shot, slugs, high brass loads and reloads. no problems here and no complaints either. the iron sights arent bad either.
