The exhaust could be plugged with carbon, carburetor has debris in it and needs to be cleaned, fouled spark plug
could be a vacuum leak and clean your throttle body out.
Of course blanket -,-
Bogs accumulates acidic peat...=)
some people just fell in the bogs ,others were sacrificed and left in the bogs.
Usually, when opening the throttle, if the engine bogs down the problem is usually a too lean situation. Often it is a clogged fuel jet, fuel filter, etc and the rapid increase in air entering the cylinder is not associated with the appropriate increase in fuel. The engine is being starved of fuel and too much air is causing poor combustion. It would be unusual for it to be a too rich situation since rarely is air flow reduced when the throttle is opened, unless the air filter is totally clogged, which although possible is unlikely.
Bogs Adornado was born in 1951.
Steffen Bogs was born in 1965.
If there were no bogs flooding would be increased
this problem is solved, cleaned mass air flow sensor, rpm will red line. thanks jl
Change the throttle position sensor, that will fix ya right up.
It appears that the engine floods when you apply the throttle, thus why it bogs down, and the leakage from the bottom of the carburetor. Inspect the air filter to ensure it is not clogged or dirty. If the problem is not there, inspect the spark plug and clean or replace it if necessary. If the problem persists, then the carburetor settings are probably too rich. If that is the case, rotate the needle valve clockwise 1/8 turn to close slightly.
another name for swamps and bogs are wetlands
