Yes, you can replace the front sight on a Marlin Model 30A. The process typically involves removing the existing sight from the barrel, which may require a sight tool or punch, and then installing a new front sight that is compatible with the model. Ensure that the replacement sight is properly aligned and secured to maintain accuracy. Always consult the manufacturer's guidelines or a gunsmith if you're unsure about the procedure.

The front sight is called "the front sight."
To adjust the sights on a Marlin 512 Deer Master that is shooting to the right, you need to move the rear sight to the left. This is done by loosening the screws that hold the rear sight in place, then gently tapping it left with a soft mallet or pushing it manually. If the rifle has a front sight that is adjustable, you can also adjust that by moving it slightly to the right. After making adjustments, always test fire to ensure accuracy.

I'm assuming you mean the iron sights mounted to the barrel of the rifle? Elevation is adjusted by sliding the sight elevator front to back on the rear sight. Windage is adjusted by drifting the front sight left-to-right. If the gun is 'shooting to the left' tap the front sight slightly to the left. A very small movement will have a major change. You could also tap the rear sight slightly to the right to effect the same change. If the gun is 'shooting low', slide the sight elevator toward the rear to lift the rear sight leaf. Again, a very small change in adjustment will have a big impact downrange. sales@countrygunsmith.net
1. Remove the screw to the rear of the front sight ramp.2. Remove the "blade" from the front sight ramp.3. Remove the screw from the front of the front sight ramp (which was formerly seated under the "blade").
Windage is adjusted using the knob on the right rear of the carrying handle/rear sight mount. There are two elevation adjustments. For the purpose of zeroing the weapon in, you would raise or lower the front sight post as needed. The front sight base is marked with an arrow and the word "UP" - this refers to which direction you would need to adjust it to bring the strike of the round up - it actually lowers the height of the front sight post.
line up the target on the top of the front sight while sighting the front sight through the rear peep sight.
