The standard barrel length of the Colt detective special was 2 inches although in the second & third series there were some 3 inchers produced.

The Remington Model 10 slide action has barrel lengths of 26" 28" 30" and 32"
4, 5 (usually a cut down factory 6 in), 6, 8 3/8 inches.

Several lengths were available on Stevens double barrel shotguns. 30 inches would be the most common, but 28 or 32 would not be uncommon and 26, 34 or even 36 would not be impossible.
