If you mean the serial number is 1, Winchester never made one with serial number 1.
It means that it is a duplicate serial number
This should indicate that you have a Winchester model 70 rifle that was made in the year 1984.
That is the serial number assigned to your rifle at the time of manufacture. This number also indicates that your Winchester model 1894 rifle was made in the year 1978.
It's part of the serial number.
Do you mean a Winchester model 94AE(angle eject)? If this is the case, your question cannot be answered without the serial number to your rifle in question.
It looks like an L, but, it is a one.
If you mean a WINCHESTER, there is no way to help you without the serial number.
If you mean the model 1894 rifle, then it was made in the year 1914,with the serial number that you have provided.
what does 120A choke mean-- I have no idea what you are talking about with this question about a choke
It sounds like to me that you have the Winchester model 1200 police stainless model. The serial number just means the number assigned to your shotgun during the time of production, nothing more. The Winchester model 1200 series shotguns were produced from 1964-1981.The serial number was mandated by the goverment with the passage of the gun control act of 1968.
Minor variations of the gun were issued with an A or B added to the end of the serial number. I don't think the exact differences are concretely documented, but the main thing is that the "B" was a particular revision of the overall design.
