It's a small-framed pistol, made of steel, colored black, with brown plastic grips. The barrels are ususally short and stubby, about 2 inches long. But longer-barreled models were made.

They're all potentially lethal. The deadliest component isn't the firearm itself - it's the firer. A capable shooter with a .22 has much more potential lethality than an incompetent shooter with a .50 cal.

Uh, we don't use 22 caliber rifles for training anymore, they're kind of obsolete. The closest thing I can think of for you is a winchester, but it doesn't look like an M4 series..
