The 300 borden caribou is the full length 300 h&h magnum case blown out with the body taper removed,shoulder angle sharpened. Also,the shoulder is pushed further forward and shortens the neck. This results in substantially increased case capacity over the 300 h&h magnum. An interesting point,use can use 300 weatherby magnum factory ammunition(or reloaded)to fireform your 300 borden caribou cases. Im not sure how much more velocity is gained over the 300 weatherby,but it still makes for an interesting cartridge.
