The Hawes Kentuckian is a replica of the traditional Kentucky long rifle, manufactured by Hawes Firearms in the 1970s and 1980s. Chambered in .45 caliber, it features a flintlock or percussion ignition system and is known for its historical design and craftsmanship. These rifles are popular among black powder enthusiasts and collectors due to their aesthetic appeal and connection to American frontier history. The Hawes Kentuckian exemplifies the style and functionality of early American firearms.
