your savage Stevens model 52a was made between 1933-1937 in the amount of 88,000 guns.
According to my Gun Trader's Guide, 2007, they were made from 1935-1939...Russ
probably 30/06 unless the barrel was changed.............
The Model 52A was made until 1937, so production of the 52B should have followed that. Both J. Stevens and Springfield were owned by Savage- you might check with their customer service department.
The Springfield Model 67-D typically features barrel markings that denote its model and manufacturing details. These markings may include the manufacturer's name, "Springfield," along with the model number "67-D." Additionally, you might find proof marks or inspection markings, which provide information about the firearm's testing and quality assurance. It's essential to check the specific barrel for any unique identifiers related to production year or batch.
The stevens model 82 was made by stevens between 1936-1937.there was a total production of 35,500 guns made during that time span.
1934-1935 what is the date on top of the barrel behind the front sight?

The 5100 was made from 1931 to 1941. I didn't know a single trigger was available in the Springfield line. I own an old Springfield double barrel 20 gauge, serial number E67029. Is Springfield the actual model name, I see no reference anywhere to a model 5100. How do I verify what I have. Well, Apollo50, tell us what IS marked on it and maybe we can tell you something.
It is a Stevens Model 1929.

There should be a stamped model number on the left side of your barrel. The serial number will be on the reciever; however, the model number is on the barrel.
