The Savage Model 112 is a bolt-action rifle designed for precision shooting, and the ".22-250" refers to its chambering for the .22-250 Remington cartridge, known for its high velocity and accuracy, making it popular among varmint hunters. The term "barrel twist" refers to the rate at which the rifle's rifled barrel imparts spin to the bullet, which is crucial for stability and accuracy; for the .22-250, a common twist rate is 1:14 or 1:12, suitable for stabilizing a range of bullet weights. The "Savage Mod 112" is known for its heavy barrel and solid construction, making it a favored choice for long-range shooting.

how old is savage 300 rum model 112 serial number F 897164
The Savage 99 was invented in 1899. That would make that gun 112 years old.
Savage Arms no longer offers any of their rifles with the 26" heavy barrel in 30-06 so finding a new 112 may be difficult. Because of their great accuracy, few are offered for sale as "used" rifles. I just purchased a "like new" ( fired 20 rounds) on Gunbroker.com for $443.00 but I have been looking for over a year. As the demand increases, the price will go up. If you are buying a "used" 112 in 30-06, about $500. would be a fair price, depending on condition. If you are selling, ??? Start high and if it doesn't sell the first few weeks, lower the price. Not everyone who may be interested has the time or oportunity to check all the auctions every week.
This particular gun seems to be rare. I myself have one. Exactly the one you have described. Last price I can remember seeing for it was around 700. I LOVE this gun. Tack driver at extreme ranges.
112 + 112 + 112 + 112 + 112 = 560
-112
I just bought one second hand for $1000 with a Nikon 6.5-20X42. Savage discontinued this rifle in 2004 and they are very hard to come by these days. About and hour after I bought mine the man I bought it from was offered $1600 dollars for it. I guess I got a good deal. They are great shooters and I wish that savage would make them again.
48% of 112 = 48% * 112 = 0.48 * 112 = 53.76
It is: 112/112 times 100 = 100%
