If you mean safety tips for handling of the military M4 rifle, they are basically the same as all firearms:

1) Treat all firearms as if they are loaded

2) Never point a firearm at anything you do not intend to kill or destroy

3) Keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to fire

4) Know your target and what is beyond and between

Some additional considerations for the M4 are:

5) Keep the safety on until ready to fire

6) Do not carry with the bolt carrier locked to the rear

7) Do not ride the charging handle forward -- just pull and let go

8) Clear the firearm when ever you put it down or pick it up (this goes for all firearms)

9) Make sure to clear the chamber as the rifle can fire without a magazine inserted and there is no chamber indicator
