Steps performed in firing
Button RIFLING is a technique for making a rifle barrel. The hole is bored, and a very hard carbide button is pulled through the barrel, engraving all of the grooves in one pass.
A more powerful variation of this technique uses only important constituents. With this approach, known as the “rifle” technique or the “Utah plant manager theory,” the interest group might, for example, ask the manager of a local plant in Utah to contact the senator from Utah. Because the constituent is seen as responsible for many jobs and other resources, the legislator is more likely to listen carefully to the constituent’s concerns about legislation than to a paid lobbyist.
Insure that the rifle is unloaded. The rifle must be cocked, so that the firing pin does not protrude from the bolt face. With the bolt closed, insert a wooden dowel that is close to the bore size into the muzzle, and slide down until it contacts the closed bolt. Mark the dowel at the muzzle, withdraw, and measure distance from mark to end of dowel. This is also the technique used for most other firearms. REVOLVERS are measured differently.

My father gave me a rifle for Christmas. I fired my rifle for the first time. My rifle misfired.
No, it's a subcalibre rimfire rifle.
An automatic rifle is a rifle which loads itself from a belt or magazine.
For many, open the bolt. Check that it is unloaded. Depress and hold trigger, and slide bolt out of gun. However, other have a different technique. Mauser rifles have a blt release on the right side of the frame. A Remington 660 has a small tab you depress with a screwdriver, etc. We could give you a better answer if we had the make and model of rifle.
Yes!
it is a crafting technique
The address of the Rifle Creek Museum is: 337 East Avebye, Rifle, CO 81650
The M1917 rifle was based on the "Enfield" Pattern 14 rifle, itself a very unabashed copy of the Mauser rifle.
