All weapons will show a preference for one or two brands/bullet weights. The only way to know is to shoot as many different brands and bullet weights as possible. When you find one it likes, buy a pallet of it.

Yes you can. I have shot some in my dads Rem 7400. If you do shoot it. treat it likes it is corrosive and clean the gun promptly and properly.

All rifles or reasonable caliber are going to have recoil, I would look at your mounts or scope. tighten up your scope rail
