It's a great little 38 special.
You will need to find a copy of the Standard Catalog of Smith and Wesson for pictures.
With this Smith & Wesson model 66 nickel plated haven't had a box of shells shot through it excellent condition like new Walnut handles
One can purchase a Smith & Wesson Extreme Ops knife from specialized stores. Online stores like Amazon also offer Smith & Wesson Extreme Ops knife at a very reasonable price.
if it is nickel plated like mine it's worth around $550.00 in excellent condition lower if there is pitting or flaking of the nickel. if it is blued the value is around $400.00 in pristine condition lower if pitted or shows wearing of the bluing.
seems like trek has more supporters smith & wesson people like the silent hubs and perhaps fuji slightly more econmical some? % people don't like intergrated headsets
sounds like the break open series. they were made from late 1800's to early 1900's with little records keeping.
A used Smith and Wesson .38 special model 60 generally sells for $450 to $650. If the gun is in like-new condition it can sell for as much at $750.
50-500 usd
Looked like the classic .38 Smith and Wesson. THE FIRM.
The .38 S&W cartridge is an older and not as efficient catridge as the .38 Special. I would sell it on a classified site that has older and or collectible guns like Gunsinternational.com
Sounds like an after market modification.
