The Stevens Maynard Junior was manufactured 1902 to 1912. It was a flimsy little gun with a particularly weak wrist, so not many have survived. Today, one in poor condition might bring $100. One in excellent condition would be at least $300.
If it is a typical Stevens double or single barrel there should be a metal lever towards the back of the stock slide it left or right and tilt the barrel down.
I can't find a Stevens 851 listed in the Blue Book or Standard Catalog. To find out more, see if you can get all the markings on the gun and consider the action (single shot, double barrel, bolt action, etc).
would like to know the value of j. Stevens 1913 single action/brake action
The value of a J Stevens single barrel 410 shotgun from 1922 depends on its condition. This gun in excellent condition is valued between 125.00 and 150.00 as of 2014.
If we are talking about a lever action single shot ,22cal rifle, with a 18in barrel, and Martini style action? These savage/stevens model 89 rifles were made in 1976.
The Stevens Model 125, a 22 caliber Bolt-Action, Single-Shot rifle was manufactured between the years of 1898 and 1912 in Westfield, Massachusetts by The Stevens Arms Co.If you Have a Stevens Model 125 with Savage also on the barrel than you have a gun manufactured by The Savage Arms Co. and it would have been made after 1920 when Savage Arms purchased Stevens Arms.I have a Stevens Savage 22 bolt action single shot 22 rifle model 125 and have yet to find the date of manufacture for it. wwworth
50-100 USD
If it is not marked on the barrel, you should have a gunsmith measure the chamber length.
